Xbox Helix Reportedly Hits 56 TFLOPS, PS6 at 40 TFLOPS

Reports surrounding Sony’s PlayStation 6 (PS6) and Microsoft’s next-generation Xbox, reportedly known as Project Helix, have gained another notable hardware detail. AMD-focused leaker Kepler_L2 reportedly stated on NeoGAF that chips for both consoles have completed tape-out, with estimated peak FP32 compute performance of 40 TFLOPS for PS6 and 56 TFLOPS for Project Helix.
